Biography

I grew up in the DC area and eventually graduated from the University of Maryland with a double degree in math and computer science. I moved down to Austin, TX in the summer of '02 to start law school at the University of Texas and almost immediately was introduced to poker.

My very first poker game was a $20 buy-in no limit cash game. I ended up losing $37, and upon leaving I felt like the biggest idiot in the world, just imagining how many times I could have eaten out for that price. I vowed never to play again.

That vow lasted approximately one week, until the next game. The rest, as they say, is history.

I ended up dropping out of law school, trying and eventually leaving graduate school in applied math, all the while playing more and more poker. I've been out of school and jobless since June, paying the bills with a variety of live and online poker play.

Interests

Baseball, books, occasionally physical fitness, traveling, umm...am I forgetting anything? Oh yeah, poker.
